PowHERful Connections strikes the perfect balance between learning and networking, leaving you with both new insights and new connections. I love Kelly McDaniel’s approach to the big topics she covers. She takes concepts that could easily feel overwhelming and makes them approachable, relevant, and actionable. Every session includes real takeaways you can immediately put into practice, and she creates space for open discussion to tackle those “what if” questions that naturally come up. When I think of Kelly’s PowHERful Connections cohorts, I smile for many reasons. I recognized her training right away as her mentor was someone I had experience with many years ago for training. When I asked her about it, she smiled and understood the high compliment. What I learned in the series is to look at the bigger picture, use your resources; even though it may be coming from an unexpected way or person, be open minded, use different approaches, fixing things doesn’t fix things and most important look for ways to connect! It was wonderful to meet so many amazing women at the workshop who struggled with things we all do regardless of role or title; a vice president, manager or solo business owner its nice to hear and feel the connection. Kelly offered a non-judgmental viewpoint of the issue and solution, and many times, many solutions. It was great to feel connection, see familiar faces, big smiles, hugs, and support in each cohort. As many of us do the message is to keep showing up, supporting, doing the work, and always learning, Kelly drove these points home in many aspects. I highly recommend committing time and energy to this and to yourself, you won’t be disappointed!!! The PowHERful Connections program has been both educational and entertaining. Kelly McDaniel from the DeLisa Group provides us with relevant material that is immediately useful in a manner that is easily understood. The venue has been perfect – convenient with excellent food. The group connects women from across many different occupations for very valuable networking.
